Our Story

The McKeryn Bridge Foundation was founded by a local family who recognized a gap in the charitable landscape—support for individuals facing sudden hardship through no fault of their own. These are not people who qualify as chronically ill, disabled, or long-term disadvantaged. Instead, they are individuals and families who encounter unexpected crises—job loss, house fires, accidents, or other unforeseen events—and fall outside the reach of traditional support systems.

Understanding the profound impact these events can have, the family brought together a small group of like-minded individuals who shared a belief: that otherwise self-sufficient, responsible members of our community deserve compassion and assistance during moments of acute need.

From this shared vision, the McKeryn Bridge Foundation was born—dedicated to bridging the gap between hardship and hope for those navigating unexpected and often temporary financial crises.

A couple words I would use to describe Randy is someone who could be quiet one minute and the life of the party the next. He wanted to make sure everyone knew he cared about them.
